Best Darn Green Beans everrrr

Okay I love love love green beans. Seriously. These green beans though, are delicious...tasty...life changing. that may be a little much. But seriously, they're awesome. Seriously. I have two different recipes and they're both awesome. I have one that simmers all day in the Crockpot (helloooo can't go wrong with the crockpot!) and then one for when you want yummy green beans that taste like they've been in the Crockpot all day...but really only take 15 min. to make.

Crockpot Green Beans:

-1 to 2 pounds of fresh green beans (they have to be the fresh kind...or frozen...no canned in the crock pot! Canned green beans would basically disintegrate)
- one small onion
- 5 or 6 red potatoes cut into chunks
- 1-ish tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce
- couple splashes of soy sauce
- 2 garlic cloves, chopped
- salt and pepper to taste
- 2 or so cups of Beef stock or water and beef bouillon
- 1/4 stick of butter

Prepare the green beans by cutting the weird ends off and for the longer ones, cut those in half. All the green beans need to be approx. the same size. Cut the onion into medium size pieces. You can cut them smaller if you want, but they will basically disappear after they've cooked all day anyway. Put the butter on the very bottom of the Crockpot. Add the potatoes and green beans into the Crockpot and put the onion and garlic on top. Add in the beef stock. I usually forget to buy beef stock at the store but always have beef bouillon in my cabinet. So either will work. Use enough to just barely cover the tops of the green beans. I have no idea how many cups it is. Add in a couple shakes of salt and pepper and the Worcestershire and soy sauce. Put the Crockpot on low for 4-6 hours. You'll probably want to add a little more seasonings and soy sauce at the end (including a little garlic powder). These green beans go with any main dish or you can add in some sausage and make it a whole meal!

Quick and Easy Green Beans

- 2 cans of green beans (which ever ones you want...I like the french style)
- 1 can of Campbell's French Onion soup (it's in the condensed soups)
- Salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder
- Couple shakes of Worcestershire Sauce

Melt the butter in a sauce pan. Add both cans of green beans (and the liquid from both cans) and the whole can of french onion soup. Add in a dash each of salt and paprika. Add in a teaspoon each of pepper (maybe a little more depending on your taste) and garlic powder. Then shake in a little Worcestershire sauce (maybe a teaspoon or little more). Simmer on low for 15-20 min. You can add some potatoes in and simmer until they're cooked too.
